Got lucky this weekend when I hit one of my permissions that has been hammered by others over the years. Was using my Equinox 800 with the large coil and got a deep signal. Well I dug and I dug when all of a sudden I plopped out some dirt and immediately saw an “S”. I immediately jumped up in disbelief. Good things come when you least expect it. Happy Hunting! WOW!! CONGRATS! I'm glad to see you're still at it. :hello: After losing mom to breast cancer several years ago, and then Dad just 2 days before Christmas 3 years ago...I've been off the grid for a lonnnnng time. I think it's time I start hunting again. Beautiful buckle!!!

I can only imagine the thrill of digging a US buckle like that. Congrats!!!

It`s a keeper!

Great find! What was it coming up on the Nox VDI?

Very nice buckle. Glad you didn't give up on the signal.

Wow, very nice!! The Nox is a great machine, I love mine. I got a deep signal this morning, I dug and dug and dug and now I’m the proud owner of 1972 ford LTD trim, sure did sound just like a silver half. Frame that thing, congrats

It was ready between 18-21 hunting in field 1. I think it was laying lead side up.

Thanks I now prefer using the equinox instead of the CTX for relics.

Great find. Congratulations.
I was lucky enough to find 2 of these within 5’ of each other a few years ago.

That is a bucket list find for me...congrats

I’m sure that was exciting. I have been detecting now a little over 10 years and the last year and a half I’ve been lucky to recover 3 CW plates.

Congrats, I remember when I found mine I went crazy, look like a puppy paw buckle

You should try it in saltwater conditions, it’s a beast!!!!
