Ugly vase pics and signed Nipper? anybody know who or what Nipper is?

Nipper is probably the name of the guy that made the vase in ceramics class or at home. sorry

I would have to agree with the diggummup. It looks to be home made or made in a ceramics class by a beginner. The price is right and I am sure it would come in handy for something.

That second vase looks like one my estate sale guy showed me last week. I don't remember the manufacturer....it had what appeared to be a rubber stamped name on the bottom that was in a circular pattern. The one he showed me was about 6" tall & had that same base color with a similar "pattern" on it. He told me it was worth $30-50 depending on how old it was. I'll try to remember to ask him what kind it was next time I see him.

It's not marked and it's not Niloak, Rosemeade, Desert Sands or Ozark and Nemadji isn't really worth much for the most part so ..... I don't think it's worth much of anything but like redfish says, it's so ugly I had to have it. I actually have 2 more similar to it. At .50 a piece you can't go wrong.
