Boy, have I been lucky this year with the quality of my IHP finds! This makes number 47 for the year and a definite upgrade to my 1887 IHP. I have upgraded probably 10 dates this year already. As you can see, this one has full, sharp diamonds. The back is just as good. It hardly has any patina and looks like a normal, brown penny to the naked eye. This was found about half a block North of the 1860s IHP spill I got in mid April.

I was actually using the 13x11 but didn't need it. That coin was only an inch and a half deep. It was a couple feet from where a cable had been buried, so I think they dug it up.
