Unexpected visitor

She couldn't see very good, or there was something wrong with this doe. I kept yelling, throwing my hands in the air, stomping the ground, but she wouldn't leave. So I said, oh well, might as well have a smoke and start snapping pics from my cell phone. I had my foot up on that big rock you see, and was having a smoke while taking these pics. As you can see she got about 5 paces, or as close as 15 feet from me. This was NO skippie, (or yearling for some of you non-hunters). Kind of made me nervous in some of the closer pics, as I thought she was going to walk right up to me. Never had a deer do that. Nothing bothered this deer. She was NOT afraid of me at all.

not often but i have heard of rabies in deer . One tested positive after being hit here in Ma. a few years back . Odd behavior is ussually a sign so be careful .

I just think it was a young doe and did not see you as a threat. Could of had CWD or blue tongue but looked healthy in the pics. Did it walk in circles?? Good camera phone pics.
