My brother and his wife have been working on a 1840’s house they bought awhile back and I have been detecting the yard about four time so far and have been skunked on silver.
I have found some early wheats a 1912 and 1930’s. Lots of clad in the yard, most interesting of this was a 1972 Kennedy half. I thought for sure it wouldn’t take me long to get a rosie or a merc and possibly a barber.
I’ll be honest and say I was hoping to dig my first seated. Well.................. I’ll let the pics tell the rest of the story!! Thanks for looking and HH.
