Letter W or M , with Crown - I did not figure out what is the right orientation.
Tried some googling but wth no avail.

The coing ihas some writings but mostly smooth, maybe someone has an idea .

Welcome to TNet, Maastricht is about 2 hours away from, De bilt, where my mom was born and raised.

The Crown W button could be for King William I (1814 - 1840). Here's a King William I period coin, notice the stylized W. Coins during his period had both the stylized and plain W.

All the coins from the King William II (1840 - 1849) and King William III (1849 - 1890) periods that I'm finding seem to have a plain W.

Thing is I'm not finding any buttons with this design so far.

Thanks Much for the assistance.

The button seems to be in the right direction as it was found in the fields under St. Peter castle by the river.

As for the the coin diameter is 2.3 Cm if it helps.

and again thank you all.
