Unkown possible metallic in Chalcedony?

Hi Everyone! Any insight would be appreciated. These appear to be chalcedony desert rose. But really not sure. I am confused by the silvery white to pale yellow metallic running all throughout. Does not appear to be pyrite or mica. They are quite heavy. Thanks in advance! Alison

The chalcedony is botryoidal, it just isn't that well developed.
