I called WF last Monday and apparently my dime order was never... well, ordered. They apologized and said it'd be there next Monday (today). I called again today and I was told it still wasn't ordered, but I could have a spare $250 box if I wanted. I took it of course, and it was a skunk. :dontknow:

Anyway, I had a lot of spare cash on me and hit some banks up for halves. Found a lot of loose skunks. I went to one more bank and found two interesting rolls. At first I thought they were the older style rolls and was already thinking I got a big score. It seems they're actually casino halves. They're all well worn on the edges and the wrappers are somewhat unique. No indication of where they're from. Pics below

One more observation. I usually go to a gas station and get a drink and a small snack or something so I can sit in the park and look through my coins (I don't like taking them all home because I live pretty far away from town and would rather just cash them in the same day). I've noticed that if I get 10-15 cents over a straight dollar amount and offer the straight amount in bills and a half dollar, 75% of the time a gas station cashier will tell me not to worry about and they'd cover the extra. One cashier told me it was because they didn't like taking halves.

Just thought that was interesting. I've probably saved myself $5 on gas station snacks that way. :headbang:

to bad, thats the kind of wrapper id be hoping to see a solid roll in!!

at least they were not bicentennials, there are NEVER loose halves in my area, and I stopped at a local bank asked for halves, 4 old rolls(silver?!?!?!?) nope... 4 SOLID rolls of junky clad bicentennials, ::) . most were AU, but man, bicentennials are so annoying. hh!

I get those casino halves in almost every box for the last few years.

Actually, one of the rolls was solid bicentennials, lol. It was actually marked "1776/1976"

Same, but I assume the paper rolls are actually from a Casino. Can't say for sure though. They look too fancy for a bank.

Those paper wrappers could be from a casino or a bank. I have some just like those that I got from a local bank. I pick these up from time to time in case I need to re-roll. The ones I have are manufactured by Kurk Products Co.in Clifton, N. J.
