All,
I came across this extremely shiny 1976 cent. I think it may have been gold plated. Take a look at the pictures of the back, that is what is the most unusual. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Looks plated and has apparent glue on the reverse.
 
It's unusual I have a few plated halves, seen a plated quarter, have a plated dime, never saw a penny out there . Never go out of my way to buy a plated coin but at face value I'd save it just for the conversation piece.
