I found this at a school that has been rebuilt last year. It is silver coated, not silver. I would like to know what it is and how old it is. Any help will be a start. :icon_scratch:

Hi Dave... :) Is that a pin at the top? Like, would it pin to something and then have that larger object dangle? It looks like a locket, but, can't tell from the pictures... is the larger piece at the bottom one piece and hollow in back?

I think I would want to see clearer pics of both sides before guessing or researching...

...I will echo Jim's comments. It would be nice to have some idea of its size as well.

It is silver coated , has a clip on the back of the top/ botom back hollow, about 6 inches from top to botom. No markings any where on it. Unable to get new pics at this time. No other clips or hinges on back of botom. Nothing looks broker of the back.
