Hi there,

I dug out this heavy rock today at an old farm site that was in existence from about 1870 to 1960. It's unusually heavy like lead (weighs 379.7 grams). Does it look like lead to you? TIA!

Just a bit of caution ... don't use that for making bullets, or sell it to anyone who does, as it could be a lead/tin alloy, used to solder lead pipe, tin will foul a grooved/rifled barrel.
It would be OK for fishing weights, though ... :thumbsup:
