Unusual point/knife

This is the third one of these I have found, out here in West Texas, sure love finding them. It's about 3 1/2 inches long.

I know this is way out of it's distribution (hundreds of miles) but it looks like a Shoshone Knife. Does yours have a ground base? Can we see some better close ups on the 3 you have? Check out this write-up on Shoshone Knives...

That buffalo skinner makes a lot more sense than my suggestion Jon. I had forgotten the distribution for these is far and wide.

yep, if i found that where I hunt it would be a Wahmuza for sure.
