I'm so sorry for your great loss. It is as painfull as lossing a family member. I bury my best friends in my yard. I have names on their stones. It takes years to get over the pain. It took 7 years of persistence to get my wife to agree on a new puppy. She was afraid it might outlive me. Life sucks. Someday a long way off think about a new friend,it does help a little. I,m so so sorry. Mike.

My father-inlaw had a 17yr old collie and had him pass away in his arms on the way to the vet for the last time and in a way he felt relieved that sinbad passed on in that way instead of bieng put down but he has not gotten over him yet and that was 4yrs ago .The URN is still beside his bed to this day, he said sinbad will always sleep by his side now !
