Hey guys, this is my first post, however i have been visiting the site frequently and yall have found lots of good stuff!! I figured for my first post i'd share my finds from over the weelkend. We went to this house site(still Standing)that was built in 1865.i got out of the truck turned on my explorer, took two swings, and pulled out a big piece of iron.filled in the hole took two more swings and low and behold,a US buckle!!!!!Within the first 2 mins i pulled out a buckle....i couldnt believe it.....then (as if the buckle wasnt enough)after about 15 more mins and 6 or 7 targets pulled out a breast plate!!!Needless to say it was a helluva day...Ill post pictures of the house and plates as soon as i get my camera workin right.....

KEEP ON DIGGIN! ;D

oh yeah the house we believe was rebuilt in 1865 but stood there much longer due to the CW relics comin out.......

UPDATE---here's the house where everything was found.....my camera is broke but this is off my cell phone...im here at work but tonight ill take pictures of finds and post them tommorow...and no unfortunatly i have no scanner :-[.......Oh, and by "we" I meant my huntin buddy steve and i forgot to mention that he found a 1853 3 cent piece, a 1865 2 cent piece, and a 1906 barbara quarter...I cant believe i forgot to mention those...any wayz ill try to get pics of his stuff too...thanks for all the good comments and until then...KEEP ON DIGGIN!

Thanks for The compliment! I have an old map drawn by a soldier that helped me pinpoint the location.
The house itself is within 2 miles of Hookers camp and Sickles camp
