I managed to stopped by the bank today and picked up my usual box of nickels...pulled the normal average out of 1959 and older ones plus managed 3 buffalo, a 1936, 1928, and one that was very worn, and a wartime 45 P, plus an interesting looking 5 centesimos coin...wait...one more 44p war nickel from this morning's hunt....I do enjoy the nickels....I did hit the coinstars and pulled alot of euro coinage....a couple stood out to me as interesting....

The 1936 Buffalo has a pretty good quality date on it. Most I find have the dates nearly worn off.
I've noticed that the one's recovered from the ground can be pretty toasted...that being said, I do get a few buffalos that are well worn from the coin rolls as well....

Question. What do you do with with 1964 nickels? Are the worth anything?
Good question, I believe the 42-45 nickels are the only ones that have 35 percent silver...1964 nickels won't have silver.... I'm guessing unless there's a mint error the 64 won't be worth much...
