First of all, let me just give a shout out to both Tnet members diggummup, and SusanMn, for their opinions....according to my jeweler....

It's a tourist ring, made in the southwest, copied, or cast from an earlier, more elaborate design.
The stones are in fact garnet, and moonstone....while not marked, is sterling silver...and dates to the 60's or 70's.....DAMMITMAN! :laughing7:

I was hoping it was 1920's with a ruby.....oh well..... But you guys nailed it.:notworthy:

You guys are fortunate. If my wife wants a ring I find, men's, woman's, fit or not, she gets it.

She doesn't care if the rings are ugly, their gold will be used to make beautiful rings.

Some hippy lost that cool ring in the 70's...too much... Freedom Rock. "Well, turn it up, man!"
