Hi All. I was working as a contractor at a new job yesterday at an old farm in central NJ. The house dates from the early 1800's. I only had about an hour, but it was a beautiful day, and the prospects looked good.
The place might be virgin, as I started pulling up coins around the house right away. An 1897 IHP, and a spill of wheaties from 1919 and 1920, and a bunch of clad. Still haven't found my first silver.
I've only been detecting for less than a year, but this is the first cool thing that I've found. Kind of toasty, but still a keeper.
