My Garrett Pro-Pointer gave up ghost yesterday.
The switch's fault, for not being indestructible!
Just because I've used it a million times since I bought it many years ago (one of the 1st year they were out),
so it has seen use!!
It won't turn off, once it finally starts.
The switch boot is a bit sloppy with inside the hole it seats (and seals) in.
I noticed that the area where the switch comes in concat with the boot,
in the depressed position, is quite warn.
But if I take the boot off, and try to trigger the switch, it won't turn off - unless I un-screw the battery cap,
to where the machine turns off.
What shall I do? thanks!
