V-- Nickel 188?

I went out for a hour or so today ,to check on the road crew They are going kinda slow but diggin in some good areas.I thought i had another 1885 V when i scratch the front to see the date. I saw 1--8-8----------------7 still a good find..And wouldn't you know, this one has great detail under the dirt, im going to clean the front now.. And i got a nice charm also ..

Nice finds Relicdude07, the charm looks very much like St. Anthony who surprisingly is known as the Patron Saint who helps people find lost objects, the poor and and barren women.

It has St. Anthony on the front and saint christopher protect us on the back ,and something at the bottom ? Italy ...It's Hard to see very small words ......I like it It maybe for something else ,i got to thinking it wouldn't do so good on a necklace the way its made ..Unless it had another small ring on it..Thanks guys.Relicdude
