missed going out last night, fell asleep woke up at 6am. was tried from the 11 hour drive , did better to day, surf til ruff, can not work in the mine, 2 to 3 ft waves. found more coins today, one gold 14k band, was hunt and this guy told me he lost his wedding band, so i ask what did it look like, he said white gold with one stone in it, "i did that so if i found a ring then he cant say thats mine also, . just being safe. he told me where he be, later i found a white gold band with one stone in it, and i got lucky it was his so i return it to him , he ask how much he owes me told him nothing just let me get a pic of you and the ring, hope you like the pic today , add a few other things then , the pain old coins and rings, haha, oh, going to hip mount the excalibur killing my arm was out about 6:30am til about 12, then went back out about 2pm this 5pm. did not see max todays might be going out about 1am low tide is 3am . here the run down..

Rjnail if the hipmount for your Excalibur is difficult to use, try a chest mount. I got the idea from sandman. It works great. There is realy no adjustments to make in the water,but sometimes I have to turn the theshold up or down a bit. The controls are right infront of you. I have a wide soft camara strap around the back of my neck It is very comfortable. Good luck Mike..

I also started using a chest mount, well not really chest mount, I hang it from my neck and found I like it there, it is out of the way when I'm digging......

Try it and see how you like it.

Hey Guy, Congrats on returning the ring. It is a good idea to get a discreption of an item before you try to return it. A fellow in my club tried to return a ring to a lady and she called the cops on him, said he stole the ring. He told her and the officer, if he had stolen the ring why would he be trying to return it to her. Since then it doesn't even try to return rings anymore.

I've had people give me rewards and others just grab the ring and shut the door in my face, without as much as a thank you. I don't usually take a reward, but if they insist I will. Kinda funny though, one time in Fla. I looked for a ladies Big Diamond ring, must have had 20 diamonds in it. I found and returned the ring to the lady. She was most insistent that I take a reward. I said OK and she said she would bring the reward to me the next day on the beach. I returned the next day and she was there and she gave me an envelope with the reward in it. After she left I opened it up, inside was a brand new $5 bill. I just laughed and went on my way.
