[Treasure Quest]

Coming down to Cypress Texas the first week of March. Thought I might bring the detector, any beaches nearby? I appreciate any info you can pass along.

Closest beaches are in Surfside or Galveston. Both are about 60 miles from Cypress. Our store is about 30 minutes away if you need any gear or just want to talk detecting!

Actually there are some fresh water beaches in the area, the lakes, the San Jac, both upper and lower, that have been used for a long time. Just be sure to avoid Harris Co. parks, as they are off limits to detecting.
