oh that's easy - 1909 "S" VDB is one of the most valuable
1909 "S"
1911,12,14 "S"
1924 "D"
1931 "S" are about the most valuable wheaties excluding odd-balls.

1970-S small date $30 in MS-60 and $55 in MS65
1972 double die $385 in MS60
1983 double die $200 in MS60
1984 double die $175 in MS60
1995 double die $18 in MS-60
2004 double die in pocket change value unknown but high because it's doubled on both sides

yeah I said excluding " excluding odd-balls" - mint errors etc. The odds of digging a double-die '55 are probably about the same as digging a $5 gold piece. Very high.

Buckram added a few more. yeah I've found some key date wheaties but copper doesn't come out of the ground in very good condition. Usually a patina on coin.

2- 1909 small letter varities. Both were beat up badly. Still waiting to find a hoard of '22 PJ's.
