value of 4 pennyweight of 22k gold today

hi all. i found a ring a few weeks back. i took it today to see what the scrap value was. they said 167.00/ is this right it is 22k gold. and weighs 4 pennyweight. i just wonder, thanks for any help

gold is at $1362
so the real value is $249.70

if all the facts are true ARA will send a check for about $245

I wouldn't really call that a ripoff. He has rent and employees to pay. I have seen places that pay a lot less. Send it to CASH4GOLD they would probably be in the $30-40 range.
