🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Very intricate small item

Found last Sunday with the Acylene valve in the same area. This is tiny and very detailed. My buddy found the exact same piece not to far away. It's got a groove in the back. It was found in late 1800s area we had hunted several times.

That was my first thought but wasn't sure. My buddy found the same part . That's kind of strange.
