I have a couple old Cemetery's near me that need ATTENTION. Our Township crews seem to be to busy elsewhere !1 I decided to try and give them a hand. At 76 years old i do not have as much energy as I used to but i tried. Buried in this cemetery is the daughter of the person that helped start Minerva Ohio . I live in Malvern Ohio about 3 miles from this cemetery

Also buried in this Cemetery is a Richard Vaughn. He fought in the Revolutionary war With Captain Kidds company 1 I just think he needed a little attention.

These next pictures are what it looks like after I ran out of breath I sure tried and my Weed eater got pretty heavy !!!

If i have time today I will go back with a rake and broom :) I would like to Lever up some of the Head Stones. Bujt to level them up I will need more help

Good job!! There's a slave cemetery near my place with a few marked stones. The last grave is from the 1940's. I have talked to several different groups about help cleaning it up. Seems like BLM don't matter if there's no gain in it for someone?

Wish I lived near I'd help. Worked on cleaning up an Odd Fellows cemetery someone told me about. When and saw it tombstones where all knocked over by cattle and over grown pulled weeds and fixed the stones back into position the best I could. Makes me sad the lack of respect some of these old cemeteries get. Good on you at least trying to clean one up

Good job Gare....:icon_thumleft:

Gare, Outstanding! I'm not in your area so I can't help but I hope you hear from many to assist. Your actions speak volumes as to your character.

It’s inspiring to see other do good deeds. Thank you!

I hope you enjoy the pictures, If you notice the cut stone walls. The stones were cut around 1840 They sure did a fantastic job cutting them.

Now i would like to contact someone that has worked on rebuilding a cemetery. As you can tel;l some of the head stones are crooked and broken. I would like to fix these. But i need guidance Anyone have any ideas ?

Coinfetcher It makes me feel good to do this for those that are gone :) WEIRD HUH ?

In the back left corner is a Pillar monument. If you zoom in you can see it better .About 12 inches down the top is broken off. and set back on. Does ANYONE KNOW how i can repair it ?

Good shots with the DJI ! You're no weirder than I am!

Well done sir ! Make contact with your local chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. They may be willing to help. I see they already have placed a plaque for Richard Vaughn.
