very small dalton???

My son found this while we were out back in the creek, it has shoulder and basal grinding! Ive never seen one so small, could it be a dalton??

Not with that base. They usually have ears. Its a great find. He must be a hunter like his Dad. Could it be a hamilton or fort ancient or something like that? I bet Dork knows that type.

congrats to your son on a cool little find.dont think its a dalton though.daltons can be that small on occassion,but the flaking just doesnt jive.i can see why you asked the question because of the hafting area on the sides near the base, and the slightly concave base.i wouldnt rule out it being a crudish early archaic knife.
