very small point

this morning i found this tiny knife river flint arrow point
it is a lot smaller than what i usually find, and i usually find some pretty small points
what do you think?
i had to try a few times but i think i got it to turn out actual size in the pictures

That is very interesting. I have found a number of very small points. I have found some that it make's you wonder what real use they really had. Some are so small you wonder if they were really hafted or maybe used for some ornimental purpose. Some of these small ones really make scratch you head at time's. That is a great find, Congratulation's !!!. Who know's maybe we should start another thread on these small points it would be interesting to hear other's idea's about them.

it is really weird that this is the 4th time this summer i have found 2 points within 10-14 inches apart
i can walk for a half hour and find nothing and the find 2 points only a foot apart

I have often imagined children made those tiny points or they were made for children as gifts or toys.

Ive always thought those would be awesome deer slayers, fast, deep penetrating, longer range, (no weight) on a arrow shaft, I see no reason it couldnt kill most animals around now.
like a 22 mag to us...
