Very unusual stone?

Any clues to this piece. It is about 17 inches long and is triangular shape at about 5 inches. Not sure if it is just a piece that was flaking off pieces or a effigy or digging tool. Mighty huge. Any ideas.

Is a wierd shaped stone...imagine it could be used tied to a stick as a spear!
