Josh,

Hey, buddy, nice videos! You and Chris are definitely top-notch hunters and I KNOW you guys will strike a belt plate this year!

You two make a great team! Keep sweeping with John Walter fever, man!

Kirk

Yeah man, Chris is my bud and we are intrepid hunters such as yourself and We both have some very nice spots that we have received permission to hunt and will be hunting those this upcoming Spring...one of the properties of which is located on part of the Cold Harbor Battlefield and the other which is a huge plantation with about 300 acres with outbuildings and old slave quarters...so we are definitely looking forward to striking another belt plate sometime this year, hopefully in the next couple of months. On that same subject, as I said to Kyle, I definitely think some nice things are about to 'spring' from that spot you hunted last weekend as there were alot of nice relics that you found. I am sitting back waiting for some King George Coppers to come poppin out from the depths

Hello Marc,

I'd be happy to. This is of course a Civil War Relic Hunt that is put on usually twice a year and puts the person on prime property. There have been many wonderful things found in the past as there was this past weekend. There is however, a cap on the amount of people who can attend so usually contests are held to pick the participants. For instance, who can answer the most Civil War questions in a given amount of time, etc. Once these contests are completed and the list of participants has been attained, there is a fee to pay as well...BUT...IT IS worth it. The event organizers have to pay for all the materials and the property owner has to have some incentive to let all those people hunt his/her prime property. If people would like to know more or see photos from past hunts, just do a google search for "Diggin In Virginia" and it will return quite a few great sources on this hunt Hope this helps everybody
