Viking find in the Sugarbeet.

Here in the UK the crops are all getting higher and higher, and so l have had to try some of the alternative fields, tried a new field with a late crop of Sugarbeet that was only a few inches high and was detectable, only did 2 hours before rain stopped play! Managed to find quite a few signals ,but mostly lead ,buttons and shotties, but just before the rain, l had a very loud signal. which was almost the same as overload(T2 users will know how that is) almost didn't dig.. Just moved the loose earth with my foot and there it was the green of copper alloy.
A Viking Sword Pommel. a first for me, and in pretty good shape for being around 1000 years old!!

Their prices make me smile to myself somtimes, but like you say maybe sometimes they get it. Hutch.
