Four cop cars showed up, we were doing two of the old churches and someone called the cops, said they seen a man with a knife! Vino pulled out a knife he had just dug and showed the cop. I was in the other church nearby and was digging with my Leche, I told my cop maybe they thought it was this! Haaaaaa lol. Here is the knife Vino dug.

He had another banner day of finds at that same church, he is working with the church historian solely there, here are the two coins, 1853-Half Cent and 1864-Two cent

He also found some skeleton keys, brooch, and another Two Cent coin, 1867
Hopefully he can update these pix with the coins all cleaned up(although the Half cent looks like someone came down the street from the mint and dropped it)

I found 14 quarters which gave me a trill quite a few times when they were deep, I thought they were going to be LC's. I also found 5 wheats, two PTC tokens, clad, toy car, and a Continental lighter, it looks like a zippo(first)

Thanks for looking, HH

That is an impressive looking half cent, and the 2 center isn't bad either. Very nice digs!

Vino is on a roll lately. That half cent is gorgeous and I've always wondered why those 2 cent pieces always look so good coming out of the ground. I have an 1865 with great detail and most seem to look great. Great job fellas
Abe, it has not been just lately, Vino has been killing it for quite some time. He started out at the church I was at yesterday, finding I think a total of 12 or 14 LC's there, the church he was at yesterday, he has found seated silver, three cent coin, 15 to maybe 20 LC's and between both churches numerous relics. He doesn't even know how many Indians he has. There are not enough hours in a day for him, I spent at least three hours just getting together this thread yesterday. I hope someday he has time to borrow my camera or bring all his finds to a hunt of ours so I can share them with everyone. Check out his latest started threads, I think sometimes when new people start posting on this site, because of allot of different reasons, they don't get as many comments as people that have been posting for years. I can't speak for Vino, but I know time issues make it very hard for him to post.

Thank you everyone for looking and all of your kind words and comments, it is very exciting going to these sites knowing the potential of finds that could be there.
