Hi,
I am the grandson of Baitz.
The bottle is from about the early 70,s
Baitz were not bottle makers.
He used to buy novelty bottles from overseas & fill them with different liquers.
The gun bottle was one of many & varied glass & ceramic bottles he used. Mostly he would give them away as a 'promotion' etc.
He did commision some special bottles just for Baitz. These are worth a bit.
However the gun bottle was a give away novelty item. You can tell by the seam, its massed produced and not hand blown.
The liquer in it was not popular, he would have used it for the colour ( although from the photo the colour has changed over the years), however, not being opened helps. Because of this it has little monetary value.
As his grandson, I am trying to collect these things for our family history.
If you are interested in selling it or need to know more please ring me 0407880840 ( aus)

I see you are from USA.
Given these were made in Australia, how did you come by them ?

I thought you might be able to give me some information on this Gold Wasser bottle which belonged to my grandfather who died back in 1971. The cork top has broken off but I don't know if any of it has been consumed as the contents seem to indicate. The liquid colour is a caramel, but you can see the gold flecks inside quite clearly. I am in Australia where this was made.
Edited to add that gold prices in Aus. are nearing $2500/ounce so maybe worth tipping out the liqueur and cashing in the gold!!!
