(Sold) Vintage Garrett Gold Hunter A3B US Version (Mint Condition)
I have for your consideration a Mint Condition Garrett A3B
This detector bridged the Gap between The Ground Hog Gold Hunter and the Scorpion Gold Stinger.
The A3B was only made 2 years 1988/89. and is using the Ground Hog 15KHZ platform in a more ergonomical setup.
There was also an Austrailian Version, but not sure what the difference was from the US Version.
This model uses the same control box as the waterproof AT3/4 models.
This detector would be weatherproof but not waterproof.
Only comes with small sniper coil and cover.
This detector works very well in iron and unmask especially well in mild to moderate soil.
Out side of a few miniscule scratches on the coil cover this detector is museum quality and works great.
This is the 1989 Version, there is no internal speaker so, headphones would be needed to operate.
