IMO
its easy for me to say this is not real kirigami
take a look at the supposed mirror images of the cutouts, visually, they don't appear to look like the same cutouts

I would say, print out your great clear pic
Then, fold the paper according to the folded lines
Put up to a light and see if they line up.
