VMI Cadet Button, Indians, Seated Silver!!

Hello all -
Despite the mild temps, I did not get out in December. These finds are from November and a late October hunt.
The highlight for me was the VMI (Virginia Military Institute) Cadet button, Pocket Watch, heel plate and Washington as these were found over Thanksgiving in Moundville, AL at a homestead that my and PostalGriff's Great (x4) Uncle Archibald built. Cool to think that the button was probably his as he served in the Civil War!!
Other cool local finds include a 1875 CC Seated Dime, 6 Indians, 1917 Canadian LC, Rosie, 30 Wheaties (1910-57D)
1919 Dog License - always love finding them. Few relics including a Silver utensil handle with initials
Been a fun year!

That VMI is awesome and a good one to have found. I have seen some at the different CW hunts I have been on. WTG on the CC also. A nice haul of keepers in anybody's book! Congrats.

WOW! I haven't been on in a while and like you didn't take advantage of the good December weather, but man bro you have some killer digs there! So stoked that you have found some finds on the Griffin property down there and look forward to seeing more!...that cadet button needs a display of its own I would say! congrats on all your other goodies, especially that CC seated!!! those don't pop up very often and haven't for me yet at all...a huge congrats on all your digs man you had a great year bro!

Way cool on the historic button, Brent. WTG on the CC seated! Is that a piece of a printing/advertising plate? I've never dug one of those yet. No putter either! Have a great 2016!
