Can anyone tell me more about this 2 gallon jug then what the stencil tells me? I dug this one yesterday and its in for repairs right now. Thanx, Swiz

It looks like a salt glazed crock that probably dates to late 1800's. It probably held liquor since W.J.Hill was a wholesaler of spirits.
