Walked Up On A Colonial Farmhouse...Old Coins Start Popping Up All Over ! !

Got out today with my Lady . We packed all kinds of snacks and video equipment. Not knowing where we were going, just started hiking. This old farmhouse came into view. We started to hunt around the building but there was too much trash, so we ventured a little farther out and started picking up coins.

Started out finding the two IH pennies . And silver coated Jesus medallion.

Was happy to see old coins coming out and then found three silver dimes consecutively...1901 Barber , 1918 , 1920 Mercs.

Was really happy with the Large Cent , though didnt get a date off it yet.

At the end of the day , found the 1945 Walking Liberty Half. It was 2 inches under and sounded like a beer can..Thats my first Walker i found . Very happy.

Thanks Romeo and Metalfinder..I do not hunt on land that is in question of hunting, I know the metal detecting code of ethics..And use them ...
I know that we have to police our own and make sure some rogue detectorists dont go and give everyone a black eye by trespassing and tearing up peoples land..But if you have a question about my detecting practices you can p.m. me...Alot of people know me around here, and I shouldnt have to deal with this kind of crap , I dont come here for that.
