War of 1812 Era Button!

Got back to my new favorite "beat" site and beat it some more. Definitely on top of the main concentration...a couple coppers, handful of buttons, jews harp, stirrup (I think) and a War of 1812 Royal Navy cuff button. It's pewter and one I don't already have so quite happy with that! Will clean it and stabilize it asap.

I love that stirrup. Never seen one rounded on the bottom like that. I wonder why it's made that way?

Front and back after a cleaning. Iron Patch let me know that this button was never made in pewter so most likely a cast replacement...cool!
