Hi everyone! I found this button today and I can read the word "WARRANTED" and see the crown on the backmark, but there's another word - and I cannot read it. I don't want to clean it any further just in case this button is something other than a run-of-the-mill flat button.
Can anyone read the word above the crown? I feel like it says 'LIBERTINE' but searches for buttons with that backmark don't return any results that match.
I've tried to provide pictures in various lighting conditions.
The front is a silver plating that has worn away; I believe it was a plain silver front.
(Mercury dime for size comparison.)
Any help is appreciated , thanks.
