Hi all. Found this at an 1812 home site, looking for some opinions on it's age. HH!

Nice one, looks old. I have not seen one with the serrations before. Likely for forcing it into a hole in the side of a wooden barrel?

I've found spigots of that design at a number of sites of different ages.
They appear at early 1800s sites right upto 1900s so I would think they used the design for quite a long time.
I would think yours would be period to a 1812 era house.
