Thanks for the pics....Looks like a good day for W. WA :laughing7:

I'm in Everett area and don't ever get much more in a day, but do love getting into the hills.
How does that 705 work in our soil?

I haven't had the chance to really get out and do any serious prospecting with it. I don't even think that there is any gold big enough to detect locally here, but am looking forward to swinging it over some old dredge tailing piles and in a placer mine near Liberty Wa. in July

Hey minersmoss, its Gold and you found it so pop a button or two as that's OK stuff! And besides, you've a way cool Merc as a size demo, nice touch!! Nice looking creek as well and the banks sure do remind me of out your way Washington State! I used to live on Whidbey Island for a few years and I enjoyed myself. Even found "A" Flake of gold up Blewett Pass one weekend out playing. Have you ever messed around the Leavenworth area? Awesome mountains 'and' canyons! Thank you for sharing.........................63bkpkr

I love when people post pics of the areas they are working. Really a beautiful little spot! It makes me want to pack up and go right now. Nice gold, it looks like the same size and quantity I get in a few hours up here in BC.

I have done some prospecting in the Blewett pass area. Found a lot of gold covered in mercury in the stream along the HWY. I didn't have my metal detector at that time, so I cant speak to that. That is a very nice area. I like the Deception Pass area of Whidbey Island.
