These are the finds from the last 2 water hunts, 6/19/12 and 6/20/12.
This is from a privately owned lake front that I was told has not been hunted.
I picked up 2 Sliver Quarters, 1 Sliver Dime, a Pauls Drink Bottle, a Coke Bottle and
7 Rental Boat Tags, 2 of them in real good shape, a little Sliver ring, .925,
the top of a Trophy at least I think that is what it is.

This was my 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] trip to this spot, it gave up some old Coins the first time I was there,
1865 Indian.

1964 and a 1962 Quarters

Lake Hunt 022-1000.webp

Harvesting Wheat

Lake Hunt 016-1000.webp

Lake Hunt 018-1000.webp

Michigan Rental Annual Inspection Tags.
I think when they got the new tag, they threw the old one in the lake.
1961 and 1964 are in real good shape.

Lake Hunt 003-1000.webp
Lake Hunt 005-1000.webp

Coca Cola Bottle, Pauls Drink Bottle, O So Good Bottle.
Pauls Drink was bottled by Coca Cola.
This is the second Pauls Bottle I have found here.

Lake Hunt 013-1000.webp

All of the finds that were worth keeping.

Lake Hunt 007-1000.webp
Lake Hunt 008-1000.webp

These picks are for all the beginners out there just starting out.
The Price you will pay for a Virgin Spot.
This is the Junk I have dug out of this spot in the last 2 days.

I am hunting this site with my Excalibur 800 with the discrimination set at 1.

Happy Hunting

I don,t water hunt. If we get in area some time we can swap info on park(s) not a have to though. Nice finds thanks for sharing pics. H.H.

Great pile of goods! As the trash comes out the treasure comes to light! WTG!!!!

WTG on the silver coins and ring Kevin! I really like the old bottles too. :icon_thumleft:

I have not found much information on the Pauls Bottle so far, here is what I have found so far.
" The history of the Paul G. Miller flavor bottle started in Muskegon in January 1917. Historical documents from the Muskegon Museum cite "Coca Cola came to Muskegon as a bottled product in January, 1917."
Flavor bottles are not Coke bottles! - Coca-Cola Conversations | http://www.coca-colaconversations.com/my_weblog/

I think I might need to go to Muskegon to get more info on these Bottles.

I love to hunt the water. I am not much for hunting yards.
any help would be Great. G.A.R. Park and Duck Lake Park are my 2 best parks for hunting water, most of my Walkers have came out of water in Duck Lake.
We need to get together on some of the areas around here.

You have to get through all of the junk. I hope there is at least 1 big Silver in there some where.
Thanks Mike

The ring was a surprise, not an area that I would expect to find it.
The old bottles are cool, but my old pie safe is full now, not sure where to put them anymore,
Thanks Dan

I just hope the Junk will start to let up a little. I am sure there is more coins in there.
I was thinking that I had found where the old Store had stood. I spent some time on the History of the place today and the Store was on the other end of the park.
I am going to see what I can find there in the morning.
Happy Hunting Rob
