Yes. The back is hard plastic. And the front is like a soft, rubbery, silicone membrane.

Where do you get the mounts for the water proof cases?

It comes with the Deus,you have to remove it to attach the remote to the shaft. Use sand paper to scuff the back of the case where you will attach the mount before you glue it. Also sand the mount peice flat, it comes with a slight curve on the part that needs to be glued.
