Waterproof / underwater detectors....

Can you guys shed some insight on experience with waterproof or underwater detectors. Would like to find the best multipurpose type
for possibly on land and underwater. Any suggestions? thanks

How far underwater, wading or diving, there is a difference in the detectors.

I guess more of a waterproof for now. I see your point though, either I decide if I’m going underwater or hunting in the rain. Was wondering if they made a fully submersible that was still well balanced and light enough on land... found a complete fisher 8x pulse barely used for $475... just didn’t want to pass up a deal that good...

Find a new or used equanox. I've had one since they came out. Good water machine. Mine has never leaked but I have heard some people had that problem early on.
