PBS had a "reality" show titled "The Collectors."
My relic hunting, privy digging, and Civil War period Tavern were featured on this show.
PBS's "The Collectors" was, in it's day, the only television show that featured prominent collections from across the United States. My restaurant "Moultrie Tavern 1862" was a re-created Civil War Tavern that was developed, created, designed and operated by my family. It was the culmination of all of our dreams. To operate a Tavern/Museum that served food indicative of fare popular in the 1860's. We also had on display, my museum quality artifacts and artifact displays for thousands to see and enjoy. So, step back in time with me, and experience the Tavern as she was, new, but old, and an antebellum atmosphere that was once the norm, in the "Holy City", Charleston, S.C.
