You guys up north have been getting hammered by the cold and snow lately....hasn't been bad down here until now. Don't laugh.....cause it's not on par with you're temperatures. But it's going to fall in the single digits here tonight!!! They are calling for 8-9 degrees for the next couple of day's lows. That is tough on us Southerners........!! BURRR......

Yup, they say the biggest cold snap in the continental US in 20 years. High will be 10 here tomorrow.

It is worse in the South because the normal high is higher and also it is rough here in Iowa every year. I lived in Alabama for 10 years and when it got down to 20 it felt like -5 does here.

we are getting a taste of the arctic here, which to us will feel like what 8-9 degrees will feel like to you

You's may want to leave your faucets Trickle

& empty any outside Faucets.

(I've been letting my bathroom sink water run on a Trickle already.
they say anything below 20 degrees can cause water in pipes to freeze & Crack,
mine have come close to freezing in the past.)

By 7 am tomorrow supposed to be -3 here in NW Arkansas and I was wanting to get out tomorrow and do some detecting

Down to minus 28 here tonight. I think this is maybe the third week of sub zero weather since December and by far the coldest. You don't go anywhere at those temps unless you have to. Supposed to be up to 30 above by end of week though and we will all be outside with no gloves and coats open cause its so warm.

Don't get me wrong, I love the snow, but that wind is killer! Feeding the livestock is rough! & when I was breakin ice on their water, I dropped the mallet in the trough! It's a good 3 ft deep, so I won't be fishin it out til its a little warmer. bummer!

I don't like ice and snow anymore. Not since I was 6 and was 80' from my house in the backyard and the snow was deep up to my chest and I thought I was going to die. Come on spring! And the other night the faucet trickled and will tomorrow night when it hits again.

Wacky weather that we get, gong up to 50 mon. Then nose dive to 16 for a high tue!

I feel like old man winter is out to get me!

Some one post a tropical pic!!!! Pleeeaaasssseeeeeee!!!!!!! Or I will be the snow person found at the end of spring in a melting snow bank holding my detector, new probe, in one hand & a quarter in the other ! I have to detect!!!!!
