If you are one of those people who are identified as "Consumer" today, anywhere in the world. Congratulations! We have been suffering and doing without, scrimping, scrounging, and struggling for long enough. The market has finally found out that we have a price that when reached and we will quit purchasing. No more will will we buy $4.00 fuel, $4.50 a gallon milk. $45,000 Suv's, $300,000 houses, $250.00 a night motel bed, and the list goes on and on. If any are doubters look at the situation of the businesses and industries that let greed take them to the crash of the financial joyride they been on. We on the other hand shopped the specials, the clearance racks, the yard sales, stayed home from the vacations, put in 2 gallons of gas in our old vehicles and sadly didn't go detecting nearly as often or as far from home as we wished. Well friends the fortunes have been lost, the banks have been broken, the stock market has tanked, the lavish homes are empty. We the "Consumers" are still here and we have our price when we will again buy. So, again I say congratulations for your sacraficing has made us winners and I for one am going to start the new year with tank full of gas at $1.49 a gallon, 8 batteries for $4.00 and many holes to dig.

Yes, I agree it's high digging time right now...

But the reason the prices are low is because there are many that are Still suffering.


Once the rich start to get richer again, then we will start to get poorer again as prices rise.

I knew that when gas hit 4 and diesel hit 5.20(california) as I am a truck driver, that the World economy could not sustain those kinds of prices for long. I could discuss my theory all day but you pretty much said it all

Started out naked and dirt poor a long time ago. Took a long time, got rich (by comparison to some) then got poor again.

Hope I die poor, don't want to leave anything to anyone in a country where some people who consider themselves free think they have a right to what I've earned during my life.

Just greedy people out there. Many people who have 10 million dollars will still hassle you and pay dirt cheap prices. They don't want to spend anything and want to show it off.

Heck if I had 10 million dollars I'd be spending it real fast doesn't do me any good to have it sit around and collect cobwebs.

$1.699 was the Lowest I saw Friday.

Last time I bought it was $1.599


I'l stop complaining and skrimping at 99.9

Didn't want to start a how much is gas in your area, but I filled up in Coeurd'Alene Idaho yesterday at $1.35.9. Alot of the Exxon and Cosco, Safeway, Superstops, were all at that price. Hope it that and cheaper in your area now.
