We finally Got some Rain!

Had some thunderstroms come through the area last night,and got 1.8 inches of rain! The ground soaked it up like a sponge. Maybe we will get some more,and get things back to normal. It's been 7 weeks since we had a rain,and the detecting has been hard,to say the least!

We got about the same the other day, so I hit the fairgrounds, 3 inches down, dry as ever and crumblie, like it never rained!!

Got out,and it made a huge difference! Hitting coins where I had been last week,and all of them were deeper. All clad though! I did get one deep no TID signal,and thought it was silver,and it was,but it was a ring at 7 inches!Also found two iron objects,and don't have a clue what they are?

Yikes we have flash flood watches a couple times a week here all summer. It has been a banner year for Mosquitos.

Yikes we have flash flood watches a couple times a week here all summer. It has been a banner year for Mosquitos.

We had heavy rains this spring,almost every day,then it dried up! We got 1.8 inches,but that was it! If we don't get any more it will be too dry again!
