🏆 HONORABLE MENTION Wedding band recovered, with a little bonus.

Fellow called me Friday wanting to rent a detector. He lost his wedding ring. When he told me that where he though it was a house had burned down, and new construction was underway.

I figured with the junk that would be there, and him no experience, I just said come pick me up on Sunday I'll find it for you, and it won't cost you a cent, and not to worry, if it is there I will find it.

We get there the side of the house he thinks it is on is covered in 2-3 inches of water, not the nicest stuff to be playing in Nov 6th in cold country. It was certainly less than 10 minutes when I yelled to him "job's done". Not before I fished a this rather cool button (IMO) out of the slop.

By what he said, "can't believe you found it" Guess he didn't have much faith, even though I assured him I would find it. He went on about how a lot of people are out there to take advantage of others, he also couldn't believe I offered to find it for free. Anyway he was VERY happy, and very appreciative.

I got more than the button out of the deal, also got a lead on what may be a good site.

I just did a quick check on this button, thay have turned up on forums before, but the 3 I think I saw all had a mispelling of Oklahoma, for the record this one has the correct spelling, and is / was gold plated ??
