The sun did come out today and by 2:00 pm it was mid thirties! Could not stay in the house. I have wicked bad spring fever! Grabed my M.D. and headed across the street. That same south bank just below and above the side walk had thawed enough to dig ! Upper lawn still frozen ! It is shaded by large pine tree now. Picked at the bank for three hours. Still cleaning alot of junk!! Pull tabs, Foil, more lead flashing, you know the drill!! I did manage my 2nd I.H. penny 1902, 3 wheaties, My first buckle. On the back of the buckle are the #s 1855 I don't know if this is a date or a model #. Segrams whiskey Token, and an Interesting brass skeleton key! another first!! the droped 32 special cartridge, and a large caliber short casing that does not have a center fire pin, it is like a 22 cal only much larger I'd say 45 cal. Oh yeah 4 clad dimes, 4 clad nickles, 32 clad pennies so yes I was busy digging! Have a look.
